Worms Head

Worms Head was formed from two rocky islets connected to the mainland at Rhosilli by a natural causeway. Its name derives from the Norse for serpent, and its outer head rises to 200 feet. Renowned for its wildlife, it can only be reached for a few hours a day (when the tides allow).

Port Eynon

Port Eynon is the most southerly point on the Gower Coast and thought to be named after a 11th Century prince, Eynon. The area was renowned for its smuggling activities along its coast. The long sandy beach stretches over to the village of Horton in the east.

Rhosilli

Rhosilli Bay is the most westerly bay on the Gower peninsula and bears the full might of the Atlantic swells, making it very popular with wind surfers. The village of Rhosilli is a gateway for walkers and beach lovers. It is also the birth place of Petty officer Evans who perished with Scott in the Antarctic in 1912.

Pobbles Bay, Gower

Pobbles is a secluded bay next to the better-known Three Cliffs bay on the Gower coast.At high water it is a tiny pebbled cove whilst at low water, it reveals a beautiful and vast stretch of sand.

Caswell Bay (1)

Caswell Bay can be found on the southern edge of the Gower coast, full of natural beauty and boasting a glorious, sandy beach. The image is of the trees above the bay looking out across Langland bay and Mumbles.

Three Cliff Bay is one of the most photographed areas of the Gower coast and offers breathtaking views. Three Cliff itself is very popular with climbers, whilst walking enthusiasts can enjoy the undulating sand dunes and the valley bottom, which boasts spectacular scenery.
